The Beth-Ann Alternative

Information comes at us at an unprecedented pace. We are bombarded with articles, posts, tweets and texts. All too frequently, mistakes are made in punctuation, grammar and spelling. The reader stumbles over all of these and the message is communicated poorly – or worse, lost.

The Beth-Ann Alternative will help you communicate your message and amplify your brand. I love the semicolon and I’m not afraid to use it, and I know the difference between their, they’re and there.

Does your message say what you think it says?

About Beth-Ann

I started my career as an Advertising Art Director working for agencies in the NY, NJ, and Philadelphia metropolitan areas. I was very fortunate to have the privilege of working with some very talented designers, copywriters, illustrators and photographers, and together we produced some great work.

While raising a family, freelancing and volunteering became my focus. I launched The Beth-Ann Alternative (formerly Belthoff Design) and provided freelance creative expertise to local businesses in and around Pittsburgh, PA; Tampa, FL; Baton Rouge, LA; and Northern NJ.

In 2013, my first children’s book Porcupine Penny was published. It’s a story that was crafted by necessity while trying to help my children sleep in their own beds. This sparked a love of writing and storytelling, that I believe was always there. I try to bring creativity to all I do, and I’m still weaving stories to address issues that are important to preschool children.

Presently, I’m on a mission to assist clients in producing written material that clearly communicates their message. The Beth-Ann Alternative can help you with your writing and editing needs. Feel free to reach out; I’ll be happy to assist you.
